The journey from industry veteran to starting a distributorship.
An'drea's dedication to customer success led to launch her own distributorship.
Meet An'drea.
An’drea is passionate about helping her customers achieve their goals and objectives through unique promotion opportunities. During her 24 years in the promotional products industry, she worked hard to build a great customer base and prides herself on stellar customer service and quality of work.
When An’drea decided it was time to step out on her own and open her own promotional products distributorship, she knew she had to find the right partner to provide her with the resources she needed to get her business off the ground - things like back office support, interest-free order financing, streamlined order management, and a modern, customer-facing website. An’drea selected AIA as her partner.
An’drea, how has AIA contributed to your success as an industry veteran and new business owner?
Having back-office support and other resources from AIA is an essential part of my success. When you start your own business, you think you can handle it all, and then you find out all that it entails. As a new business owner, you don’t know what you don’t know. Having someone guide you through the process like AIA has done for me, is what has set me up for success.
How has AIA played a key role in your journey of owning your distributorship?
AIA offers the right resources and services that a distributor needs to grow their business. But AIA offers so much more than that. It is the relationships and trust that I have with the AIA staff that have exceeded my expectations. Knowing that when I need help and I call, someone will pick up the phone and the conversation matters to them as much as it does to me.
Being in business for yourself comes with a lot of unknowns, whether you are a new business owner or have been for years. With AIA, I feel truly supported. Their concern for me and my business goes beyond my next sale. They support where I want to go with my business and provide unbiased guidance to help me make the right decisions for my business. For example, I recently worked with my owner success manager on a very difficult decision on whether or not to take on a very large prospect. She listened to me, gave me different perspectives, and helped me make a very big decision. There is nowhere in my contract that says she has to do that. That is the AIA difference.
